Solo trip to Japan in 2024.

Spent most of my time in Tokyo - Ueno, Ginza, Shinjuku, and a couple days in Kanazawa.

A big focus of the trip centered around street photography using my Fuji X100V. Had a lot of fun shooting black and white and trying to capture candid moments around the city.

My favorite photos came from the Shinjuku Toro no Ichi festival at Hanazono Shrine. It was a lively and colorful festival with lots of interesting characters and moments to capture.

I also enjoyed exploring the Tokyo National Art Center and capturing the unique architecture and design of the building. Although, it seemed to be kind of a hotspot for photographers. A lot of folks were posted up in the same spots and I can imagine my photos are very similar to a lot of other photos taken there. Still, quite a lot of fun to shoot there and I enjoyed the experience.
